Publication workflow

From reader question to reviewed page

The calculation, evidence and page behavior are reviewed as one deliverable. Passing one layer does not waive the others.

  1. 01

    Define one reader decision

Each guide starts with a question the calculator can test, not a keyword list or a generic product roundup.

  2. 02

    Freeze the scenario inputs

Wattages, duration, usable battery window, losses and solar limits are named before a result is calculated.

  3. 03

    Run the production engine

Worked results come from the same deterministic browser-local engine used by the public calculators.

  4. 04

    Check independent expectations

Reference cases verify units, inverse relationships, boundaries and rounding without copying production literals.

  5. 05

    Trace important claims

Electrical guidance is mapped to a primary reference or an exact manufacturer document with a stated scope.

  6. 06

    Review the published page

Links, calculator state, mobile layout, keyboard access, metadata and sitemap eligibility are checked together.

Method in practice

Inspect two concrete examples

These guides show how the editorial and calculation process is applied to a numerical result and an electrical compatibility decision.

Evidence labels

Four kinds of information stay separate

Engine-calculated
A reproducible value returned by the production calculation model.
Source-backed
A technical distinction supported by a cited public document.
Illustrative input
A visible planning assumption to replace with measured or rated data.
Product-specific check
A limit that must be confirmed in the exact manual before connection.

Ownership, sources, publication and limits

01

Who is responsible for these guides

Tollica is the named publisher and calculation owner. The guides do not invent a personal expert, professional licence or physical product test. When a statement comes from an external standard, public laboratory or manufacturer document, the page identifies that source. When a number comes from Tollica, the page identifies the calculation model and the scenario inputs.

This distinction matters because a transparent desk calculation can answer an energy-budget question without pretending to certify a battery, inverter, cable, connector or solar array. Product approval remains with the exact manuals, ratings and operating conditions supplied by the manufacturer.

02

How calculations are produced

Worked values use Power Planning Model v1, a browser-local deterministic model that keeps equipment energy, conversion losses, usable battery window, output demand and solar input limits as separate quantities. Decimal arithmetic is preserved through calculation before display rounding.

The model is currently recorded as desk-validated, with 48 named scenarios, 10,000 property cases and independent expected values. Article evidence tables call the same production engine used by the calculators rather than retyping results into prose.

03

How sources are used

Primary public references establish dimensions, units and general energy relationships. Manufacturer material is used only for the behavior or specification format it actually documents; one brand example is never promoted into a universal rule. Every guide provides a scoped source list and a claim trail that shows which references support its important distinctions.

Sources do not manufacture certainty. Field yield, conversion efficiency, battery retention and representative equipment power remain scenario inputs unless the page identifies a measurement or a product-specific document. The guide must expose that uncertainty rather than hide it inside one unexplained correction factor.

04

What review-required means

A draft remains noindex, absent from public navigation, omitted from the sitemap and unavailable to sharing until its calculations, links, sources, responsive layout and search intent have been reviewed. Publication is a separate decision for each page; completing a draft does not automatically make it public.

The publication review also checks that the guide adds something the calculator does not: a worked decision, a sensitivity analysis, a measurement procedure, a specification checklist or an electrical compatibility explanation. Pages that merely restate another page should be revised or merged before release.

05

Limits and corrections

Tollica provides planning estimates, not laboratory certification, electrical installation approval or a product recommendation. Readers should replace illustrative wattages with measured values or exact manufacturer ratings and verify voltage, current, frequency, connector, polarity, environmental and safety requirements before a purchase or connection.

When a model, source or explanation changes, the affected guide should receive a new review date and its deterministic examples should be rerun. A correction should describe what changed and why instead of silently preserving an obsolete result.

Publication checklist

  • Engine examples rerun against independent expected values
  • Every configured link opens the stated inputs and result
  • Important claims map to reviewed sources
  • Article and calculator search intents remain distinct
  • Mobile layout and keyboard navigation are checked
  • Publication, sitemap and sharing are enabled deliberately
